SSUCHY quoted in CNRS book “Invent the future – Engineering goes green”
The CNRS Institute of Engineering Sciences and Systems (INSIS) has organized on 8 & 9 July 2019, at the headquarters of the CNRS, the seminar “Sustainable development Objective – Engineering goes green”.
On this occasion, Vincent Placet from the University of Franche-Comté, has presented SSUCHY project through his conference “When bio-based composite materials invite themselves in structural applications”.
About the event
INSIS has made green engineering its priority theme in 2018 and 2019. This symposium has been an opportunity to present the current state and prospects of research in these burgeoning fields. It brought together the scientific community and was open to an interested but non-expert public.
The concepts discussed at this symposium responded to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) initiated by the United Nations.

About INSIS
The CNRS Institute of Engineering Sciences and Systems (INSIS) coordinates research at the interface of science, technology and society’s needs. The work of its laboratories focuses on the design, optimization and recycling of complex objects and systems. The research carried out focuses as much on how to obtain them and how to make them work in hostile or constrained environments, as on their use for the reasoned development of humanity.
